Ground Base Options
Sleeved bases are a simple, quick and effective solution for installing smaller banner poles, from 6m to 7.5m sizes. They make it quick and easy to lower banner poles for maintenance or relocate banner poles, with no cranes or heavy machinery needed.
Hinged bases are a safe, WHS compliant option for all banner poles, from 6m to 9m sizes. The hinge plate positions the J-bolts, allowing poles to be manually raised and lowered safely, with no cranes or heavy machinery needed.
Can I self-install banner poles?
YES! Our products are designed to be self-installed and assembled, so you can save time and money by self-installing your new banner poles. Our technical team are available to provide more information and advice.
If you'd prefer to outsource this job, our sub-contractors are available to assist with your project in many locations around Australia. And in locations that we don’t service, we can recommend local contractors for you to engage directly.
How do I install sleeved banner poles?
PILA’s sleeved banner poles can be lowered or removed from their base at any time. Ground sleeves are permanently set in concrete beneath the surface of the ground with the banner pole spigot slotting into the sleeve and locking securely in place. When removed, the pole is lifted out and a top cap is fitted.
How do I install hinged banner poles?
PILA’s hinged banner poles can be lowered or removed from their base at any time. The ground bolts stay permanently embedded in concrete below the surface of the ground, and when the banner pole is removed, the bolts can be safely covered with sand, soil, or a cover plate - keeping the surface safe.
