Illawarra Stingrays FC’s Exciting Upgrade

At the Guest Park Soccer Fields in Fairy Meadow, the new football goal posts are already making a noticeable difference. The club recently received a shipment of their new GSAP (Game Standard Approved Posts) and Senior Goals. The new goal posts not only improve the aesthetics of the field but also enhance safety and playability, allowing the club’s teams to train and compete on the best possible surface.

Kathy McDonogh, the President of Illawarra Stingrays FC, expressed her gratitude for the support and hard work involved in assembling the new goal posts.

“A massive THANK YOU to all the volunteers who drove trucks, unloaded trucks, assembled, and secured our new GSAP and Senior Goals! Don’t they look awesome – how exciting. We have an army of very special people at Stingrays who show up for our club and players always. You are the backbone of our Stingray community. Thank you, Stingrays Family – you are all very much appreciated.”

The Stingrays’ volunteers were instrumental in bringing this project to fruition. Their dedication to the club’s success and growth is a testament to the strength of the Stingrays community. With such support, the club is poised for continued growth and success, both on and off the field.

Why Football Goal Posts Matter

Football goal posts are more than just functional pieces of equipment; they play a vital role in ensuring the safety and integrity of the game. The PILA Goal Post Subsidy Program™ ensures that clubs like Illawarra Stingrays FC have access to top-of-the-line goal posts that are both safe and durable. These goal posts are built to withstand the rigours of regular use, ensuring they remain in great condition season after season.

For any football club, having reliable goal posts is critical for running successful training sessions and competitive matches.
